The release of the first display on glass was seen in the twincept watch in the year 1995.
Every season, G-shock changes its colors. G-shock is available in many vibrant colors and also in regular, classic black. An assortment of fun, cool trendy colors can be seen like black and neon yellow and white and purple and 24 various styles in the women’s BG series is seen in this series of watches. Sporty and Trendy combinations are popular with a variety of colors such as white and light pink, bright red and hot pink. There is an array of series’ such as the BGR series, BGA series GLX series. The watches are water resistant to a depth of about 10 bars and capable of withholding extreme conditions such as being dropped, compressed and even struck with a hammer. It is also able to withstand extreme weather conditions by being by being frozen in ice and also submerged in water and still continue to function efficiently making the watch invincible. The watch can withstand up to 10meter falls and has no battery replacement requirements for ten years. A new additional feature has been seen – solar power, enabling the battery for automatic recharges. This watch has an automatic adjustment feature that allows itself to change by receiving signals from Fort Collins Colorado to the American Standard Time by self adjustment. It also has radio control technology with a stopwatch and countdown timer, which are additional features in this watch. Other additional features such as a barometer, thermometer and even a moon/tide built in graph display are built-in.
The effort that was put up by Casio has brought it to the level it is in now. Their trial at many projects like calculators, watches, computers, cameras, printers, etc have all been successful to a large extent and they have developed their watch manufacturing industry to very large proportions. Their wristwatches are very popular and the G-Shock wristwatches are the most popular ones and have been so since their release for sports personnel. The founder of the company Tadao Kashio and his family regularly fund events related to sports and other research and development sectors for new business ideas.
