The Era of Slip on Sneakers
Look Younger - Beauty & StyleIt seems like the variety of slip on sneakers available for purchase is widening by the year. With new patterns and styles offered by a growing number of companies, the selection of these shoes becomes larger and all the more appealing.
Back in the 1990s, it seemed like only Keds and Vans were the companies making slip on sneakers. Somewhere along the way, the trend caught on and many others jumped into the game. There are far more companies offering these shoes now.
These days, the product line has expanded, and everyone wants a piece of the action. Even companies like Prada and Burberry are both producing their own form of the slip on sneaker.
Why do people like these shoes as much as they do? For a start, they’re convenient. You may remember how popular Velcro shoes were after they came out, and much of this had to do with the lack of laces. Such is the case with slip on shoes, and the added style wins them some extra points.
Another great thing about slip-on sneakers is the fact that they’ll go well with a diverse range of clothing styles. Some people prefer to wear them with jeans, though others can just as easily wear them with shorts.
In my experience, the best place to find slip-on shoes has always been on the web. The reason for this is the fact that you’re likely to find a lot more online than you will in one store. Individual stores might carry a few pairs on average, but you won’t get the benefit of variety there.
Not only will you find so many different colors and styles being offered, but you’ll also find far more brands than you’d ever find in one store. Since so many styles are now in fashion, you’d owe it to yourself to check them out.
One of my favorite things about slip on sneakers are their very reasonable prices. This naturally depends on the brands, but I’ve seen some of these sneakers offered for $25 per pair and even less. All in all, the comfort and price offer many reasons to look for these.
