Other than these accessories, name belts, name plate necklaces, and oversize sunglasses also became famous among people of that time.
In the beginning of 1990s, the whole sense of urban clothing got transformed. It inculcated the idea of the Black Nationalism under the influence of African tradition. The priorities and the demands of people changed and the Nike shoes replaced the Adidas shoes. The reason behind it was that these Nike shoes were in the use of an NBA player Michael Jordon. People adopted the new trend and said good bye to Adidas. At that time, one of the prides of urban clothing was Gangsta. It included the flannel shirts, oversize pants and worn-in shoes.
Urban clothing became modernized in 21st century, because hip hop superstars and designers introduced their own lines. Many companies registered their names among top brands during 21st century; the names of some famous companies include Tommy Hilfiger, Boss Jeans, Lugz and FUBU.
In the modern world of today, urban clothing is known to be the most wanted clothing among men and women. Urban clothing is available in different designs, styles and sizes.
