Women in America seem to be flocking more and more to have French manicures as of late. There is a good reason for this, these French manicures are stylish and very general in the fact as they go with practically anything from a t-shirt to cocktail dress. The traditional French manicure comes with a nude base coat or otherwise a light pink coat. It has touches of fingernails painted to the nail in a bright white color.
Practically all nail salons in the United States known how to perform this manicure, and it brings in quite a few customers to them each day. Of course, the ladies like adding a bit more style to a French manicure, and this is quite a simple task. Designs can easily be added to their nail.
In most cases French manicure are preformed in a nail salon. This is due to the fact that most of the salons have the required equipment and the skill to do all the wonderful designs. An airbrush machine is a common way to provide a French manicure. This machine is capable of giving very even lines in a smooth manner as it lay a white coat down. The air brush machine is also great for stylists to lay brilliant designs into the nail.
Some color and style can be added to any French manicure by having the stylist draw out small designs on the finger nail. Many designs may be seasonal, falling in line with Christmas tree designs, jack-o-lanterns, and even hearts. Flowers, initials, and even palm trees are more common non-seasonal designs.
There is another way to apply a design to your French manicure, “nail tattoos”, are designs printed on paper, that can be rubbed right onto your nail. These transfers closely resemble the application of faux tattoos, and can then be protected by applying a clear top coat to keep the design looking fresh longer. Most salons have a wide selection of tattoos for you to choose from.
For those of you not content with just normal nails, a new process called nail piercing has made it’s way to salons. Usually this act is only done on acrylic nails and not your real nails. They usually avoid using it on real nails due to the fact the only way to repair it is to let the nail grow out and cut it back.
There are an incredible amount of choices available for your French manicure. Ladies can have many kinds of designs only limited by what they can dream up. If you are interested, ask one of your manicurists for details.
