What A Rolex Datejust Means

Look Younger - Beauty & Style

Per tradition, there are few objects that, materially, declare ’success’ more than a Rolex Datejust does. A BMW. An Upper Westside high-rise. Chanel fragrances. Brooks Brothers attire.

And not many other model Rolexes display the class or first-sight awe more than the Datejust does. Of course, other well-known Rolexes exist’ the Submariner, Daytona, Explorer II, GMT-Master II, to name but a few. And, the cost of the Datejust notwithstanding, certainly more expensive models exist, too.

The Datejust has been around virtually forever. And it’s been distinctive, even from other Rolexes, since its inception. And millions have been yearning to have one since the day it first was introduced to the world.

Perhaps it’s the date display clearly visible through the special magnifying Cyclops lens. Introduced in 1945, this particular model Rolex was the first wristwatch to feature any kind of date display.

Is it the Jubilee bracelet? Multiple rows of two links bookending three smaller links are held firm by the impressive clasp mistakably make it a Rolex.

One of the most recognizable aspects of Rolex is its Gold Crown emblem. And when you see it located at the 12 o’clock position on the dial, it’s obvious what it represents. No other watchmaker has such a symbol sitting on its dial.

Then there’s the self-winding movement. Or how about its quality craftsmanship? Rolex’s durability is legendary, as is its never needing to be wound.

Whatever the reason, you realize its beauty and excellent craftsmanship from the first moment you see it. The Jubilee-style steel bracelet links together in classic fashion. The watch wraps your wrist with a solid feel that bespeaks superiority and style.

The blue, concentrically-configured dial announces understated style. You know by the color that it’s a Rolex face. The numerals on the dial are also unmistakably Rolex. The Datejust has Arabic numerals, while other models have Roman numerals. And these Arabic numerals are distinctively-shaped. Though there are countless imitators, only Rolex has its numerals in this font.

After you put a Datejust on for the first time, the second hand mesmerizes you as it moves around the dial. It goes round and round in silence and with ease. Perpetually moving, it is breathtaking and undeniably, exclusively, Rolex.

Another distinctive feature of the watch is its water resistance, which is 100 meters, or about 330 feet. While there are much less expensive watches also water-resistant to the same depth, you are never sure you want to test it out.

Just a moment with this watch on your wrist, though, and you know Rolex can fulfill this claim. You know, without fail, it will run at those depths. And you even suspect it works even deeper. You are confident nothing is impossible with this watch.

You have confidence in yourself. You have confidence in your watch, in how it will present itself, and you, to others. It’s bold yet understated. People will crane their necks to catch a glance of it. You’ll just have to learn when to ignore those looks and when to respond to them.

In essence, confidence is what it means to wear the Rolex Datejust. Confidence in yourself and in your success, future and past. This is unique to wearers of Rolexes that others can never know until they own one.

Normally, few things in the material world reflect sophistication more than a Rolex Datejust. A Mercedes, Beverly Hills residence, Louis Vuitton handbags, Armani attire. More info on used Rolex Datejust for sale .
