Hair Loss In Men – It’s More Common Than You Think

Look Younger - Beauty & Style

Male pattern baldness is very disheartening to many men. It’s hard to see your hair thinning at a relatively young age due to a sensitivity to androgens, the male hormone. Actually, three things are involved in male balding: hormones, genes, and age; and they work together and separately.

Some scalps have areas that are very prone to the male sex hormones which are circulating in their blood. The hair follicles – from which hair grows – shrink in response to increased levels of these hormones. Over the course of time, the hair follicles become so microscopic that they are unable to compensate for the missing hairs. However, the follicles have not died; they are simply unable to perform up to expectations.

This usually starts when men are between the age 20 and 30 years and then follows a pattern. First there is a decreasing hair line and then the hair on top of the scalp become sparse.

Two balding areas join together at one juncture to form a U-shape that extends to the back and sides of the head. Remaining hair is often thinner and is slow to grow in comparison to the past.

Hair loss is not actually any disease. It is just a condition which is passed genetically from parents or ancestors. If it is detected early and proper treatment is given, it can be cured.

Now a days there are lots of medicines and treatments available to cure baldness. Also a lot of products are invented to cure it and usually men’s salons keep them.

You don’t have to just grin and bear it anymore if you’re a man who discovers that he’s going bald. Acknowledge it to yourself and to your grooming professionals. That’s the first step in finding a plan that enables you to limit the progress of this condition. You have to find the right thing for yourself.

It is advisable to use natural products as they do not contain harmful chemicals which may cause further damage. You may either do research on your own or take help from a hair expert or stylist.
