At the beginning of a new decade it’s hard not to get excited about the new fashions that are going to come along. Ten years ago, who could have imagined the changes we’ve seen on the fashion front?

It only takes two or three years for fashion revolutions to take place, so it’s advisable to focus mainly on what’s going to be happening in the very near future.

2010 has some hot new looks, so let’s take a peek. I’d like to restrict our research to women’s shoes. I’m crazy about shoes and just love writing about them. I just love wearing them as well!

I have a shoe closet that’s just bursting at the seams. Let me tell you about the ones that are my favorites right now.

Christian Louboutin’s designs are all ultra chic these days. Take a look at the reptile leathers. With tons of personality and a big wow factor, you’re guaranteed an unforgettable entrance in those.

The Roberto Cavalli ankle lace is a fun style in boots. Laced around the ankle, these glossy black leather boots have quite a high heel. They’re more versatile than you might think, as they can be worn with various styles of outfit.

Thigh-high boots with heels have recently emerged on the scene. These are not the easiest things to wear but they create an amazing look for anyone who can carry it off.

Lastly, Hunter rain boots have made a big comeback. A nice pair of Hunter Wellies is a practical and stylish alternative to the sneakers most of us tend to wear in wet weather.

They’re also very comfortable, which means they’re my personal favorite on rainy days.

The Reason Cubic Zirconia Rings Are Getting So Popular

Every woman dreams of the day where the man she is in love with kneels down before her, proposes and slips a gorgeous diamond ring over her finger. Engagement rings are a necessary token of affection today as well as way back in in history.

The ritual of giving a woman a ring when a man proposes dates back to the time of the Roman Empire. The rings used during that time were engagement rings made of iron, much cheaper and simpler than the ones we’re used to seeing today.

While the rings were simple and did not have a 18 carat diamond on it at the time, it was quite often noted that the rings were engraved on the inside instead, carrying the initials of the person.

It is extremely common for rings to be adorned with a diamond (or diamonds) these days however of late, cubic zirconia is becoming the jewel of choice. Why is this so? Cubic zirconia’s are extremely beautiful stones and they are inexpensive when compared to diamonds.

While having a diamond ring would be ideal, it cost so much that many young couples just cannot afford to buy such as luxury. Instead they purchase plan silver or gold wedding bands, which don’t quite have the same impact that the diamond bands do.

Cubic zirconias are the best choice for those of you who doesn’t want to spend too much money on buying a diamond engagement ring but still want something that looks almost identical. Let’s face it, wouldn’t it make more sense to save the money for a new car instead?

To an untrained person, the cubic zirconia cannot be easily told apart from a diamond. It would take a professional along with special equipment to see the real difference between the two types of stones.

The cubic zirconia’s are perfect for couples who are just starting off and don’t have a lot of money to spend on a wedding ring. Besides, with diamond rings, you’re mostly stuck with the clear stones as tinted ones will cost you tons of money. With the zirconia’s, you can have a whole range of gorgeous colors to choose from.

Apart from this informative article, the author has in addition publicized two unique articles in relation to cubic zirconia bridal rings and tungsten carbide wedding bands.

Fashion Sunglasses – Affordable Doesn’t Mean Cheap

Fashion sunglasses certainly have found their niche over the decades. Long before the overpriced designer styles flooded the market, fashionable low priced eyewear was just about the only option unless you needed prescription eyewear.

As far as the materials are concerned, there is little difference when it comes to comparing a $20 pair of sunglasses to a $320 pair. They are made of plastic, they have plastic lenses, and they usually offer no or little protection against UV exposure. Sure, the quality of the plastic might be a bit better in the expensive styles, but in reality – how good can plastic get? Not much better.

Fashionable sunglasses add character to an outfit, to an occasion, or to a persona. Want to look sexy? Buy some new sunglasses. Need to travel incognito? Get some big sunglasses. Skiing? No problem – you can find gorgeous goggles for under $50.

You have your pick of colors, sizes, and styles to fit any occasion, outfit or face. If the first pair you try on doesn’t fit well, keep trying. Manufacturers tend to make the same style in a few sizes, and when they send the display to the retail outlet, there are typically two or three sizes for each style, although the sunglasses usually aren’t marked with a particular size. The more expensive they are, the more likely you are to be able to find a store that will be able to special order them for you. (Yes, even $15 sunglasses can sometimes be ordered.)

Perhaps you are shopping on an overcast afternoon but you want to wear glasses to add a spark to your outfit. You can not only get sunglasses to match the outfit, you can probably find lenses to match, too. Orchard? Peach? Grey? Not at all impossible!

These fashion glasses can be found anywhere in almost every price range. This is terrific since anyone who has a habit of losing their sunglasses can easily find a good replacement pair within a few minutes without breaking the bank.

No matter how much you pay for the glasses, however, you do need to be careful with the lenses. Carry a soft cloth made for this purpose. Hopefully you got a case when you bought the glasses and can keep these things together. Tissues and napkins are too rough to do the job. They don’t pick up the dirt but they will leave tiny abrasions behind. Worst case, soap and water and drip drying will work, too.
